Hi, I'm Avery

I am an interior designer who believes in the power of spaces to heal, inspire, and elevate daily life.

With a background in commercial design, I bring a holistic approach to every project, from concept to completion, combining thoughtful space planning, innovative material selection, and 3D visualization to create environments that feel vibrant and purposeful.

My story

My curiosity about how people and our world work has always lead me to design. It started in an unexpected place: a college dorm repurposed from army barracks. Alone and hours from home, I transformed that stark space into a personal haven—pushing together twin beds, installing a hanging paper lamp, and decorating the walls with film photos of home and thrifted artwork.

This was my first conscious step in changing my environment to improve my mental and emotional state—and it worked. When my RA saw the transformation, she asked, “Who did this?” I shyly replied, “Me,” expecting to be told to strip the space back to its bare bones. Instead, she said, “You really shouldn’t have any of this up, but you should look into becoming a designer.”

At the time, I was studying human communications but felt unfulfilled. Inspired by that conversation, I researched interior design programs and decided to pivot. In May 2024, I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Cal State Long Beach.

That first transformation taught me the power of intentional spaces, and I’ve never stopped learning how to create them. I embrace being a lifelong student, always curious and open to new ideas, which helps me bring a unique and fresh perspective to every creative project.

Vision

Guided by curiosity, I transform challenges into opportunities and design solutions for spaces, that reflect our truest selves.

My vision is to create environments that inspire joy and fulfillment, telling your unique story through intentional design.
